CHILDREN

We seek to be a child friendly church and see them as a vital part of our fellowship.

On the first Sunday of each month we have a meeting called GENERATION CELEBRATION. This takes place at 11:00 am and replaces our usual morning celebration.  This is often a meeting where our youth get chance to preach and our children to take part. we end with refreshments and hot chocolate and marshmallows are a firm favourite.

On the other Sundays our dedicated team of DBS checked volunteers run Bible Buddies. This name was chosen by the children instead of Sunday School. The children remain in the church for the time of singing and then leave for their own specialised stream.

TODDLERS

Every Thursday morning in term time we run a Toddlers Group from 9:15 to 11:15 am. A wide variety of toys are available for the children to play with as they learn to socialise with other children. We do not charge for this service to the community, though a donation box is available. We serve drinks and biscuits free of charge for children and adults.

YOUTH

Every Sunday morning, apart from the first Sunday of the month, the Youth will leave after the worship time for their own stream bringing appropriate input for their age. Our definition of youth is secondary school age. We have a Youth Band, many of whom it has been our pleasure to train. We also run a special night for girls when they do baking and listen to a speaker, this takes place as announced.

Each year we have taken our young people to our National Youth gathering to join with hundreds of other young people at The Gathering.
